Doc, we need an update! Some are saying big pattern change won’t stick around for very long and we’ll be back to warmer (than normal) weather again before long. Recent AO forecasting has it trending more neutral and less negative than previously. I hope not, being a snow and cold lover myself, this his been an especially depressing winter so far in the midwest.

Doc,

Looks like the SSW calmed down a little bit but now seems to be kicking in again. Seems to continue further erode the pesky vortex over greenland over the next 240 hrs. What do you think?
